The Gardens Residential Complex
Commissioned in 2001, this was the first Nakheel development to commission District Cooling through PDC. Two plants with a connected cooling capacity of 25,000 tons serve the development, with 129 buildings and 208 villas connected by network piping of some 47 km. PDC is in the process of taking over the plant from the developer, assuming the operation, maintenance, metering and billing.
PW operates a sewage treatment plant of 30,000m3 capacity in this development.
