Palm Water currently operates temporary sewage treatment plants of 7,500m3 per day capacity. A permanent sewage treatment plant with a capacity of 110,000m3 and a TSE polishing plant of 44,000m3 capacity are under construction.
Palm District Cooling has designed and installed approximately 50kms of pipe network into Stages 2 and 3 of the development in preparation for when the development requires a Chilled Water service. Currently three District Cooling Plants have been allocated to the development producing a planned 110,000TR of cooling distributed evenly around the site. Preparation plans for the plant room construction are currently being drawn up and will be actioned in conjunction with Nakheel’s Phasing plans.
